The short version

More of your workflow. In one place.

vodka is a Lua and Luau script-protection and key-management platform. Its free creator workspace combines editing, private source history, protected builds, access tasks and delivery. Start with your original source and keep control over what you publish next.

Choose it when you want those tools together without adding a creator subscription. Optional player premium is priced separately; it is not a paid creator plan.

Keep the original. Keep moving.

A draft is a place to work. A published build is what your players receive. vodka keeps them separate, so a failed new build leaves your previous working release available.

Access workflowOrdered free-key tasks, key lifetimes and revocation — or no key system at all. Bring your own ad-link provider to monetize.Ad-link key system, key-check API and Discord bot integration.[1]

Luarmor's published plans also include Premium at $25/month (8 scripts, up to 1,000 keys at once) and Pro at $40/month (18 scripts, up to 10,000 keys at once). USD prices are shown as published, without currency conversion. Check their site for current terms.

This is a comparison of documented workflows, not an independent security or speed benchmark. vodka does not promise unlimited resources, identical runtime compatibility or that protected code is impossible to inspect.

A different starting point

Put your next release first.

Spend your time on the script.

Open the editor, save your original, build and publish. Come back to the same script when you need its source history, tasks, keys or activity. Your generated delivery address stays with future published versions.

Player activity distinguishes authorized deliveries from client-reported starts. A delivery count is not presented as proof that someone completed a script run.

Check the integrations you need.

Luarmor advertises a ready-to-use Discord bot and an ad-link system. If those are part of your current setup, plan that transition before moving. vodka does not currently include an integrated ad-revenue program or an equivalent ready-to-use Discord bot.

Bring your own test script and evaluate the current runtime behavior before switching your community.

Make the move

A fresh workspace. A clear next step.

Before you switch

A few things worth knowing.

01Is vodka a free Luarmor alternative?

Yes. vodka is free to use — editing source, building protected releases, configuring script access and distributing your loadstring all cost nothing, for you and for your players. There is no platform subscription and nothing to buy. You monetize directly through your own ad-link provider if you choose. Resource limits and platform rules still apply.

02Does vodka use Luraph?

No. vodka uses its own integrated protection pipeline with a per-function Luau bytecode VM and source transformations. Luarmor advertises Luraph integration. These are different implementations; this comparison does not establish a security or performance ranking.

03Can I keep my existing Luarmor keys and loader?

There is no automatic Luarmor key or project importer. Recreate your access rules in vodka and arrange replacement keys for existing users. After testing, distribute the new vodka loader; an old Luarmor URL does not automatically become a vodka URL.

04What should I check before switching?

Test your original source and required runtime environment, your key flow and your existing integrations. Both offer an ad-link key system and a Discord bot; the difference is that vodka keeps monetization creator-direct — you connect your own work.ink, LootLabs or Linkvertise account and your provider pays you, rather than the platform taking a cut or holding your money.
