Bot Terms of Service

Last updated 23 October 2026. These terms cover the vodka Discord bot. Adding the bot to a server, or using its commands, means agreeing to them. The platform's general Terms and bot Privacy Policy also apply.

What the bot is

The vodka Discord bot is a front-end to the vodka platform for Discord servers. It lets players redeem and manage their own keys, lets script owners run their key system from chat, provisions a server with /setup, and provides support tickets and moderation commands. The bot holds no database of its own. Every read and write goes through the vodka API on your behalf.

Provided as-is

The bot is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranty and no uptime guarantee. It is run by one independent developer on a best-effort basis. Features and commands may change, and the bot may be paused or discontinued. You can remove it from your server at any time, and doing so immediately ends its access.

Permissions it asks for, and why

To do its job the bot requests: Manage Roles and Manage Channels (to create the roles, categories and channels /setup builds, and to grant redeem roles); Manage Server (to read guild structure); and, for moderation, Kick Members, Ban Members, Moderate Members and Manage Messages. It only ever acts on structures it created or on the commands you run. It does not read message content (the Message Content intent is off); ticket summaries record metadata only, never message text.

Acceptable use

You run the bot in your own server and are responsible for how you use it, including moderation actions such as bans, kicks, timeouts and key blacklisting. Use it only in servers you administer or are authorised to configure. Do not use the bot to harass, deceive, or harm others, to evade Discord's rules or Terms, or to abuse the vodka API or rate limits. Owner commands act only on scripts the calling account actually owns.

Your responsibilities with keys and players

Keys, HWID bindings and blacklists managed through the bot affect your own players. You are responsible for communicating your rules to them and for using these controls fairly. The bot reports what the platform says to do; the platform's Terms govern the underlying key system.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, vodka and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or disruption, arising from use of the bot, including an outage that interrupts redemption, support or moderation. You use the bot at your own risk.

Changes and contact

These terms may change as the bot evolves; material changes are announced in the Discord server, which is also the fastest way to reach the person who runs vodka.
