The service, as-is
vodka hosts and protects Lua and Luau scripts and, optionally, runs a key-access flow for them. It is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranty of any kind: no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. It is run by one independent developer on a best-effort basis; features may change, and the service may be paused or discontinued. When that risk matters to you, keep your own copies, which vodka is built to let you do.
Acceptable use
You may upload and protect only source you wrote or otherwise have the right to distribute. You must not use vodka for illegal content, malware, credential theft, or scripts intended to attack, defraud or compromise other people, platforms or services. You must not abuse the infrastructure: no attempts to break rate limits, exfiltrate other users' data, or disrupt the platform for others. Respect the rights of Roblox and of other creators.
Suspension and removal
We may suspend delivery, unlist or remove a script, or suspend an account, when these terms are broken or when a script or account threatens the safety or stability of the service or other users. Where practical we aim to tell you why. Administrative actions that remove or disable content are recorded in an audit log, as described in the privacy statement.
What protection does, and does not, guarantee
vodka's protection deters inspection and raises the cost of reverse-engineering. It is not a guarantee of secrecy. Any value shipped to a client (including strings, numbers and logic) is ultimately recoverable by a determined attacker, which is inherent to all client-side obfuscation. Do not rely on protection to hide secrets, credentials or authority; keep those on a server you control. The measured, reproducible limits are published on the benchmarks page.
Your content and continuity
You keep ownership of your source. You can export your originals and retained versions and leave at any time; nothing here transfers your rights to us beyond what is needed to host, protect and deliver your script on your behalf. A failed, stale or cancelled build never replaces your working release. If the service winds down, the design goal is that you still hold a usable copy of your own work.
Monetization is yours
If you choose to earn from a script, you connect your own ad-link provider (such as work.ink, LootLabs or Linkvertise) as a step in your free-key flow. That provider pays you directly. vodka does not hold, process or take a cut of your money, and it is not a party to your arrangement with your provider or your audience. You are responsible for complying with your provider's terms and with applicable law and tax rules.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, vodka and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost or leaked data arising from your use of the service, including losses from a protected script being inspected, copied or reverse-engineered after delivery. The service is provided without warranty, and you use it at your own risk.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site or in the Discord server. Continuing to use vodka after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
