vodka / Monetization
work.ink vs LootLabs vs Linkvertise. How each fits a Roblox key flow.
A factual comparison of the three ad-link providers creators use to monetize Roblox keys: what they are, how each plugs into a key flow, and how to choose without chasing a payout number.
The short version
Three ways to put a paid step in front of a key.
work.ink, LootLabs and Linkvertise are ad-link and content-locker providers. The idea is the same across all three: you place a short monetized step between a player and their key, the player completes it, and the provider pays you for that completion. They are the common way creators earn from a free Roblox script.
On vodka any of the three works the same way, as a key-claim task. You connect your own account, the provider pays you directly, and vodka verifies completion server-side so the step cannot be click-skipped. vodka takes no cut. This post is about how the three differ in practice, not a ranking, and it deliberately does not quote payout rates. For the setup mechanics, see how to make money with your Roblox scripts.
What they have in common
From the key flow's side, they are interchangeable.
Whichever you pick, the shape inside vodka is identical:
- You connect your own provider account, so the payout relationship is between you and them.
- The provider step becomes one task in your key flow, which you can order alongside other tasks.
- vodka verifies completion on the server, so a player cannot jump to the key without finishing the step.
- vodka takes no cut and holds none of the money. See creator earnings.
Where they differ
The differences that actually matter.
The providers differ less in what they do and more in how they feel to your players and how they pay. The honest way to compare is by the factors below, checked in each provider's own current terms rather than from a blog's numbers:
- Player friction. How many steps a claim takes and how aggressive the ads or offers are. More friction usually means more drop-off, whatever the headline rate.
- Payout model and regions. Each provider pays on its own model and supports its own set of countries. Your effective earnings depend heavily on where your players are.
- Bypass resistance. How well the provider resists auto-skippers and ad blockers, which affects both your pay and your players' experience.
- Reputation with your audience. Some communities trust one provider's links more than another's. A provider your players already distrust will cost you completions.
We do not publish per-provider payout rates here because they change often and depend on your region and traffic. Check each provider's current creator terms, and if you can, test more than one with your own audience before committing.
How to choose
Pick for your audience, then measure.
The right provider is the one that earns the most from your players while losing the fewest of them, and that is specific to you. Start with where your audience is, since region support and fill often decide the real number. Then weigh friction against rate: the highest advertised payout is worth nothing if half your players abandon the claim.
Because the provider is just a task in your key system, switching later is low-cost: you change the task, not your whole flow. So pick a reasonable starting point, watch your completion rate honestly, and change it if the numbers say to.
Questions
A few things worth knowing.
01Which one pays the most?
There is no single answer, and we will not invent one. Effective earnings depend on your region mix, your traffic and how much friction your players tolerate, not on a headline rate. Check each provider's current terms and, where you can, test more than one with your own audience.
02Can I use any of them with vodka?
Yes. work.ink, LootLabs and Linkvertise all plug in the same way, as a key-claim task. You connect your own account, the provider pays you directly, and vodka verifies completion on the server.
03Does vodka favor one provider?
No. All three are supported equally and vodka takes no cut of any of them. The choice is yours, based on your audience and the provider's current terms.
04Can I switch providers later?
Yes, cheaply. The provider is one task in your key flow, so changing it does not mean rebuilding your key system or re-issuing keys. That makes it easy to test one, measure your completion rate, and switch if needed.
